nevin says:

You're crazy hair going has got me leaving. bye!

Howard Fraga says:

please be sure to position your supports so that they do not leave to many peg hole useless, i prefer to use 1 by 1s as to limit this and place your 1by 1s betweenst the peg holes, this way you will loose no peg holes, in contrast using 2by4 will displace of peg 4 rows of peg holes unacceptable and iritating when trying to arrange hardware…

fpark says:

Hey, when you screw the pegboard into the frame, do you have to screw it into the studs as well? Or is it okay to screw it along any part of the frame? Thanks!

Ray De La Cruz says:

Good job. Looks good.

The Loobis says:

Dude lay of the name dropping. Okay, you've got something going on with RYOBI. Don't make it obvious.

doacarnage says:

I use 2×2, and I screw between holes cuz that board can pull right off those screw heads unless you use washers. Another thing you could do is put a shelf at the top.

George Vasquez says:

I like your video but you DON'T need all that 2×4. 1×2 will be sufficient for the top and bottom, since the studs behind the drywall and the screws will hold the weight. All you really need is space/spacers between the pegboard and wall. I use a strip of 1×2 on the top and a piece of 1/2 CPVC hot glued to the back( center of between four holes) for the rest of the screws. So like I said, it's not the furring strips that hold the weight it's the studs and screws. That 2×4 will block three columns of holes. So will the top n bottom.

Luis F. B says:

I did a similar project. .. but I actually framed the outside edge of the pegboard with 2×1 inch wood. takes less space than a 2×4 and gives you more usable surface while maintaining a rigid base.
every 3 feet I added a parallel support and connected the peg board to the wood using small washers to strengthen the screw joints and also pressure relief. I mounted the pegboard frame to the wall joists (16 inches on center)
I am able mount 60+ lb of power tools maybe more every 3 feet with ease cuz the pressure is spread out.

tama bradley says:

I took all of my Peg board down- Totally waste of space, and ugly looking at all the junk hanging all over on it- Now we have a nice storage unit with everything stored neatly inside. Just an opinion.

Nathan Lytle says:

Looks good peanut butter

Lynx Dominance says:

Could you make sure and throw some more "plugs" for Ryobi Tools in the next video?

Jaime Esper says:

Do the screws hold the peg board to the wall, seems like without washers the peg board could fall?

Myfootsasmokin says:

Those screw heads won't hold without washers.

John and Deb Faison says:

Best I've seen. Great job.

David Moss says:

Where did you get all your hooks at for your power tools?

Mario Monti says:

I bought a bunch of the Ryobi battery lanyard's cheap and used on eBay and clip them on the edge of gorilla wire shelving. I can tweak and move them easily. Also put hooks on my pegboard and hang the hedge trimmers with them.

Sue says:

Thank you so much for showing me how to hang this pegboard on drywall. the previous videos only showed them installing the board on open studs. Thanks

Joel Reeman says:

Love the Ryobi, got a similar set. You have certainly got me motivated to do something similar 🙂
