what is the carom bar on upside the handle
Nice DIY video, but I don't think I would trust that type of a setup on such an important control. The little piece of plastic can degrade, crumble, or brake loose over time and jam things up. A better/safer option would be to install an R6 throttle tube: http://amzn.to/2k2TgEw which will give you a quick turn as well and won't fall apart.

Nice. I think what you did basically increase the diameter and remove all the slack (free play) in the cable, so increase the respond. Might not be too obvious on your ZX but I'm riding a 17 year old 400cc bike and I think it'll give mine a big change. Thanks for the idea.

I agree with dinxsy, there's no point having a fancy ZX6R that you cannot ride anymore because you were not wearing the proper gear.

at the end of the video you said that it was easy DIY modification but to me that is a very complicated project..
