This video is part of a series of videos in which I show you how to build an outdoor kitchen. This is not a step by step video, but more of a basic diy outdoor kitchen explanation of how I built my very own outdoor kitchen.
This is the 3rd and final video of the DIY Outdoor kitchen project. In this video I tile the counter tops, finish covering the outside with cedar fence boards and install the bbq! Now I’m ready to start using it, just in time for summer!

FYI: I’m not a professional, I’m just a homeowner that enjoys doing projects on my own. My videos are meant to show you the process in which I used to achieve said project. They may be different, wrong, right, crappy or whatever but I see them as a way to show the struggles of learning and/or figuring out DIY projects in your own home. As they say, “There’s more than one way to skin a cat.” Hopefully my videos help you and inspire you to work on your own DIY projects. Hope you enjoy, and thanks for joining me!

Nice Chevelle!!
I have an ignition switch cord on my gas grill … what do you do with that cord? I have already disassembled the grill like you did…. please help
Figured out stereo mic recording!!
Very NICE!
the cement thing works out for the heat?
Why did you choose to leave the back open?
Looks great. Good job.
oh, also your propane tank just sitting under the grill, awesome idea BriGuy! I mean I'm sure that thing won't fall over and roll around at some point. PLUS, I bet it looks AMAZING from the yard with all that framing and stuff you'll store behind those doors except for the railing, you called a "thing". Hey check out my rough cut cement board and grout overflow. Oh, just stay up here on the deck, don't go out there in the yard and look at the other side. I really honestly, straight talk learned a lot from this! BTW did u get a permit to do any of that?
threw away your side burner, totally unsecured grill, hope no toddlers attend your family bbq and grab the handle, plus it's not like Oregon has earthquakes or anything so you should be good. chubby thumbs up!
how to not do everything, thanks!
Iโve been trying to put together something for backyard. Great videos, you really made it look great.
Great job bro! ๐๐ฟ
Looks amazing!! Thanks so much for sharing xxx

I found some safety tips that may help anyone trying to do the same. I feel some of these important tips may have been overlooked. The outdoor kitchen looks very nice btw.
No fridge? No sink? No Wok station? Not much of a kitchen.
The back side is exposed.ย You should have put a backing inside of it.
Did really good
Sorry if you mentioned it in the video, I must have missed it, but what's the hole to the left of the grill for?
Never skip the sink!
Good job!!!
very nice work… my outdoor kitchen plans would be similar. I also went back and forth on the need to have a sink so I may also skip it. I might end-up tiling under the grill for easy cleaning. Also (for easy cleaning) I will move the grease tray from back to the front by accounting for 2" clearance between the grill and counter floor, that means, I may have to support the grill from the side if needed. I learned a lot from this video. Thank you for sharing.
How do you keep the heat from the grill charring the surrounding wood? Also, when I built a surround island for my grill I covered the top with granite and within a year the heat from the grill cracked the granite.
Your video build was awesome. Looks like I will be duplicating your project for myself ๐
Came out Great ๐๐ผ๐
You should have used metal studs, as the wood around the bbq will breakdown composition and eventually catch fire. Science. Please don't forget to shut down. Check underneath for charcoaling of wood religiously.
Awesome job, man! Looks great! ๐๐ผ
Awesome project! Planning one here in TN with a grill and flat top. Love the lights! Do you have a link for those? Thnx
