In this video I’m doing a little bit of woodworking and building shelves for the motorcycle garage that is connected to the ongoing machine shop / workshop build project. The shelves are made from birch plywood and coated with clear lacquer. I didn’t sand and re-coat the shelves since I’m too lazy. But the single clear coat keeps the dirt out of the birch fibers and that’s enough for me. The Makita impact driver is the same one that was bought by my father in the year 2004(ish) and it still works strong (not sponsored by anybody, just saying). The plywood was also supplied by my father. All the pieces that I used are 1,2 cm by 98,5 cm by 29,5 cm. The shelf supports were cut in half and the width is 14,4 cm accordingly including kerf losses. This pretty much gives you an idea what the shelf measurements are if you by any chance want to duplicate what I did. And yes, my shirt is on inside out. Nicely done, but how do you walk on such level floors? You're bound to list to one side. Cheers.
I was a bit jealous of your barn ever since I started watching your channel yrs ago. Now I'm really really really jealous π π π
Done just like the Wifey wanted…Good planning and building Donn, I like it !!
LOOKING GOOD π !!! Hey Donn, that place for the bikes is pretty cool too. Liked the way you are fixing it up for your needs. That concrete floor sure makes for a nicer work place. Thanks for sharing with us.
No angle grinders used in a video? This is not right on this channel. π
Nice work. We must drink some coffee, if i sometime comes to estland!
I like your new Big Gray workbenchπ. The floor looks greatππππ. I like your winter tires that you have for your motorcycle. When I was young I was looking for those types of tires for my Enduro, back then they weren't available here in the United States. So every time I went into different bike shops trying to find them I got weird looks from the people working there. Looking forward to more videos of the sawdust coming off of The Sawmill. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for sharing your storage ideas, I like them. Also, it is good to see you taking care of your things. Interesting to see you now sweep up your new shop, I would too. π
Best wishes ππͺπͺπͺπͺπ
