Solly // MC Solly Gaming™ says:

will this work with the raspberry pi?

Flash-Sentry says:

Can I use this just to power mt led button? I am building a controller with a Brook PS3/PS4 Fight Board PCB kit and not sure if that comes with an led power harness.

Leandro SF says:

Does it work on windows 10?

slippinggnome says:

is that a sanwa joystick?

大Tyre3大 says:

Can you have the led push button lights on all the time or just when you push it.

Tristen McDonald says:

If u switch the yellow and red wires in the plug the light will stay on all the time.

Carmine Cutone says:

Great video and quite informative.  I am building a six button arcade with joystick and two start/select buttons.  Does it matter what slots I use on the board.  The SE and ST slots are obvious.  Any recommendation on the other six?

scroeffie says:

wil the USB Encoder work with the original xbox ?

David Chavez says:

If you want the lights to always be on all you have to do is switch the black and yellow cable. I have the same kit and was able to get the lights to always be on. You can contact the seller and they will guide you on how to do it. It is extremely easy.

RetroGeek Computers says:

Are those Sanwa joysticks, or the Zippy crap?  They are probably the low quality Zippy joysticks, considering that you only paid $72 for everything, and the high quality Sanwa joysticks sell for $25 to $30 each.  You get what you pay for.  It appears that you bought $72 worth of low quality crap.  Enjoy.

Great video! I have a similar USB encoder, but my joystick didn't come with the quick connect end to tie into the board. Also, I only have retropie running as my only interface on the pi. Could I still connect to the wifi and down the things I need to program my buttons? I'm having a little trouble. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

JCreazy says:

Thanks for the video, I think it is the only one on Youtube that features this kit. My question to you, do you know what the most common button amount for arcade games is? I am assuming very few use all 10 buttons. I would like to set mine up to just have 3 buttons, I think that would cover the majority of games.

Will Hurley says:

Great info. I'm looking for parts like this that will work with Linux. I'm wanting to make a retropi arcade stick. Would those parts do the job and did you ever get the lights to stay on?
