Find out how to make an easy portable arcade console (cabinet) using a Raspberry Pi. You can bring it anywhere, plug it into any tv, and play all your favorite classic ROMs. This arcade has 4 general buttons and a joystick, but you can also plug in any old usb enabled controller. We use a Raspberry Pi 3 in this video, but you can also use an A, B+ or any other Pi.

Your the only video that linked where to get the games, Thank you!
I'm looking at building my first arcade machine. i want to have 30 000 games on it without being pc driven…
i was looking at raspberry pi 3 but it seems to be a little under powered for my requirements. Not compatible for Dreamcast games and greater console generations like PS2 and on wards…
can you please recommend a hardware i can use for this ?
Not sure what soft ware I'm going to use yet, probably leaning towards launchbox big box.
I basically want an Arcarde not a PC running my arcade if that makes sense.
I value your opinion 🙂 thumbs up
you are the man i got so many question to ask…. how can i go about doing this ? email address maybe ? please 🙂
Cringed a little when you soldered the buttons while they were in the top of the box, think you would have had an easier job doing it if you would had taken 'em out first, that just looked painful for your neck, back and posture.
Other than that, loving the video mate, good work.

Are there enough pins available to add 4 more buttons to this? I'd like to do a 3×3 (6 total) main button version with 2 smaller buttons (select & start). I love this idea!
great!!
in centimeters is this¿
I've never actually used RetroPie before, but if you add multiple ROMs to the library does the GUI recognize and let you select what game you want? Or do you need to replace the ROM?
