You're actually supposed to make the frames with the big pieces going over the small ones. That way, weight doesn't simply split the wood and push it past the nails.
I'm a contractor, and though your stuff might not be totally load bearing, you guys did awesome. I'm proud of your ingenuity, and work ethic. Good job, keep up the good work!

This was so cool. Great photograpy and music. If I ever need a squad of combat engineers to build a deliberate platoon defense with covered fighting positions and bunkers, I'm calling these kids.

How can we now theirs a tunnel ?or cavity under our feet what machine can detect it because I can hear lil animals digging around the foundation hope it isn’t serious

Actually in America anybody who lives in Tornado country, and doesn’t have a basement in their house, or lives in a mobile home or trailer, a project like shown here could be a life saver. In a Tornado you need to get below the ground. Something adequate to get you underground would take a full grown man maybe a month of weekends to construct.

u should have put GRAVEL behind those walls. dig a trench behind the walls and fill it with gravel. then NO WATER PROBLEMS.
Reminds me of my childhood, I was always digging an underground fort or making a tree house. Lots of fun

I can appreciate the effort and kids creativeness, however what they are doing is extremely dangerous. Their lack of trench design and understanding of soil composition and safety procedure is a recipe for disaster.
