I am curious to know what Y'all think about the color? I'm still on the fence with this.

As always, great job! Love the chair and your step by step instructions and critique of it at the end. Good pointers.

KamekoBruns says:

I altered the plans on this slightly. I made the arms/feet 29" long and cut the legs down to 14". This way, the legs are held between the arms/feet which should help with load bearing and I just happen to like how that looks better. The seat supports are still 21" long but the 3 front & back pieces are cut at 25".

I did this to accommodate the size of the cushions. I think they are 25" x 25" but I need to go to the store tomorrow to confirm their measurements since the website lists them as 25" wide and 46" deep so that's gotta be a typo.

Bonus is that by making these changes I was able to drop one 4×4. The original plans required (5) posts and around me, those cost $13. Not a huge savings but I plan to make at least two of them so that's almost $30 I'm saving.

Awesome job

Arun Sharma fAntAstico says:

Sir what r the dimensions of logs shown in beginning . 9 for seats 3 for width , 4 for legs .

Marcus Jones says:

I like the chair, but polyurethane isn't the best option for exterior. It just doesn't last since it isn't meant for it. An exterior penetrating oil would last a far longer time, and there are some on the market now that can be colored
