This is my Pinterest story.
After hearing about Pinterest from Iliza Shlesinger and Ellen Degeneres in their skits, I decided what the heck, I’ll see what this “picture thing” is all about. In short: pandora’s freaking box. I started and I couldn’t stop and this is what I did to my backyard over the course of about 10 weekends on and off.
It may seem like an exercise in madness, but doing a lot of carpentry was my way of dealing with cancer issues and some tough times I was going through in life. is he like a drug dealer or what? we've been trying to make our backyard decent and we've been doing little stuff at a time ´cause it's expensive to have that. But hey, it's beautiful, i loved those little pathways you made, that's what i want for my backyard.
And one more thing.. when I was those girl's age my dad made me help him in anything… hold things, painting, handing him things… and I loved it and now I think I could pull something like this on my own… so if you can make them help you do it, 'cause it's fun and also you're giving them skills for their future and that's so awesome

Pretty amazing! Looks like you 1) don't have fence setbacks like ours, 2) aren't in an HOA in which you'd have to have plans written up, signed off on by neighbors, and approved by the HOA before you could start on anything; and 3) don't have restrictions as to how much grass you have to have. Plus 4) great weather (CA?). Must be nice. Would love to do something like that in my yard (though with some grass for the dog).
