The truck had a bad power port. Removed it and put a 12V-5V DC-DC converter in its place, and wired it into the ACC (accessory) switch location on the fuse box in the 1978 Ford F150 4×4.

Are the positive and negative points on the USB chargers circuit board always in the same on all USB chargers? I'm looking to do something similar with a AUKEY Quick Charger in my car.
