How would this solar camera work during night time or during extended overcast days in Seattle? This is where I live and I just got a new car without a camera.

Hallo Scotty. i need help, i have a 2007 Cadillac escalade esv with 165,009 miles that shifts all gears, but sometimes slips when driving below 40mph, and reverse takes about 5 seconds before going into gear. gust want to know if i need to buy a new transmission, or if is gust a something easy to repair.

Scotty, I ordered one of these and am very disappointed. The backup guidelines on the screen are 15-20 degrees out of parallel to the vehicle and there is no right/left adjustment, either on the camera frame or in the screen software (I find it incredibly stupid/cheap that there is no adjustment). I spent 2 hours with various attempts to jury rig some shims to correct the angle, but to no avail. The up/down adjustment screws on the camera frame are so tight they will not budge. The suction cup on the screen mount comes pre-coated with glue, but I do not want to permanently install it. If the screen is mounted to the windshield, the screen is not bright enough to see it when the sun is bright. (I'm having to prop up the screen in a dash cupholder. I sent an email to customer service with questions, but they have not responded. Pretty cheap for a unit that costs over $180 with tax. Well, the packaging was beautiful. but a poorly thought-out product.

Yeah but then you got that screen sticking up all the time that doesn't do anything. You only use it to see when you're backing up. It would be different if it was tied into a touch screen stereo system or infotainment center, but that's just eating up dash space for the most part. We don't spend that much time backing up.
