Chris Polk says:

I love the tiny house and giant garage, I like your priorities! What is it, 10x, 20x the tiny house footprint?

Vic Nesheim says:

Look at that slab! No cracks that I can see – good job, D!

Moe Jaime says:

Safety ? don't forget loss of life too !!

Just Me says:

No, no, no. The Way to start a project and guarantee your safety is to follow two rules of procedure. First Hit your finger with a hammer and then cut your finger with a piece of sheet metal. Get it over with now, right from the start. Perform these two actions and your safety throughout the project is guaranteed by the Universe of Construction.

Sharon J. Smith says:

This is so exciting! I love Handee Man stuff and this garage is going to be a great project to follow.

homesteadonomics says:

Are you going to move your TH into the garage for cooler summers and warmer winters?

Brad Randel says:

That is so awesome you replied….
Point taken…
You are doing an amazing job I watch every one of your videos I am developing 22 acres just north of Monticello Utah I’m learning a lot from your channel…Finding Meaning and purposeAnd the action necessary to fulfill a dream you are doing it you are an inspiration I hope our paths cross one day

Lisa Starr says:

Definitely overwhelming!!

beach life , out west custom projects says:

Super amazing bud

Anita Archibald says:

Thanks D. Always learn something useful from your videos. That garage is going to be epic!

Don Leamon says:

You going to put some swamp coolers in that thing? Also, plan on making some snake blocks for the big doors so you can have them open in cooler weather. I've had three rattlers in my 30×50 shop here in NE Scottsdale over the past 10 years. Talk about pooping your diaper. I finally got smart this year and cut some cheap OSB to fill in the doors which are 18' tall. They are only about 2.5' high, so you can easily step over them. At least I feel better.

الحارث بن عباد says:

Great
keep sharing any things you do it

BetterYouBetterWorld V says:

you n hannah should have just made everything outta clay lol it would have been funner and more rewarding and free, each to their own tho not everyone can build a clay house ;p

M Lo says:

Yeay, time to get it done. You'll get it done in no time Dereck! Your going to get it all done. Your smart AND YOUNG…it's all good. Your a big blessing to your wife, friends and YouTube people. Your moving right along to your ultimate goal very nicely.

DianddraD says:

so I am curious why build a TINY house then a HUGE garage? it seems kind of backwards.

Andrew H says:

A cheaper then the scissor lift option for those working on a similar type of building is a material lift. Home depot rents 12 foot ones that can lift 450lbs but you can find taller ones at other tool rental places.

tubularguynine says:

Ought'a have room to do anything in there! 👍🏻

Diary of a Farmgirl says:

what is going in this whopper of a shed?

Trevor Crowley says:

Outstanding Derek. You have a knack of making your projects look straight forward and easy. They are far from it. I assume you have filled all your water tanks as well. Will you again be showing the results of your work in water casements.

Look forward to the next phase of your garage project.

Jon Kling says:

Image that using power tools on just solar power to build things and live a normal life…I know some U Tube folks in Idaho that went to grid power because they had no clue on what they were doing with their poorly designed solar and continue to put out bad information on why solar just cost them too much time and energy…idiots

dugfriendly says:

You are walking the path, dude! So inspiring 👍

K4MRO says:

Hard hats as well!!! Not normally used on YouTube. lol, all I can say is…

PLfL

Adirondacks4me says:

Get yourself a 1/2 drive impact drill to tighten up those Red Hat tie downs, you'll kill yourself tightening them all manually…..
