Instead of using ( and buying !) a Kregs jig for the cleats….can one use a 2×4 joist support instead?…..something like this?–> http://www.homedepot.com/p/Simpson-Strong-Tie-2-in-x-4-in-20-Gauge-Face-Mount-Joist-Hanger-LU24/203302252?cm_mmc=Shopping%7cTHD%7cG%7c0%7cG-BASE-PLA-D22-BuildingMaterials%7c&gclid=CjsKDwjw6qnJBRDpoonDwLSeZhIkAIpTR8KEjF-uVJVNi3u3DfGZpDS_AnWVnBJN4e-bJG8onlIzGgJxDvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
cool build. almost got bopped in the head. careful 0:31
i like that.
I did this too, but i just built the frame away from the wall, so that i could just shoot screws in from both sides. Then I just stood it up and anchored it to the wall and then sheeted it. I didn't have had to put cleats in that way, so it saved some time.
2:09 How do you open the car door with the shelves that low?
You connected the legs with 2 1/2" screws? Is that long enough to connect securely for your shelving? 2" through the leg plus only 1/2" going into the horizontal 2×4's?
Thanks for the good ideas………….. Spike in uk
Any suggestions if the walls in my garage are concrete?
That's quite the belt to be wearing for just a few screws.

A big thanks to  [Go Here==https://plus.google.com/u/2/117309684281297662218/posts/2hC71BBiTgx ] this program, and it has indeed saved my home and stress from minor jobs in the house. Now I can come home without bothering how my home looks bad. Its aesthetics are so much to be compared with words. I rate them the best overall.
