Thanks for this video. I've been seeing lots of videos that show cabinets built with out dadoes or rabbets and not really knowing what I'm doing, I've been looking for a video that would help me build solid cabinets that will last.
Sad to see traditional woodworking becoming obsolete….
This is a superb woodworking book I`ve ever read, “pepe amazing plan” (Google it). It gives lots of general info that would help any beginner and also some experienced carpenter. I have been very surprised how frequently I use this to look up woods at places like to restore and also salvage spots.
Don't be fooled people, this man is an actor… I've been working in carpentry for my entire life, it's one of the things Germans are known for, and by seeing the way this green horn holds his tools, wooden boards, and holds his posture I can tell you with out a doubt he is no carpenter. I'm surprised they let him use power tools. Watch stumpy nubs, he's a great youtuber that is actually a carpenter and not an actor.
this is a perfect cabinet build tutorial. but better to use adjustable shelves.
Using a dovetail for the fixed shelf is a really good technique – that's going to be a really rigid assembly and much easier to square up than using biscuits and relying on the back panel to do it.
craftsman has the biggest youtube following of all the tools nufacturer i think . hope there next marketed tools top oof the line and great .

I am trying to build a cabinet/table and I am having trouble keeping it squared so will be straigh and not twisted. It is off by 1/4" and I can't figure out how to do it. I will appreciate any help, please.

Nice. I don't think I'd bother gluing the dovetail joint though. It's self locking and going to be kept from sliding in and out by the back and face frame. As far as weight support I feel like the glues help in that would be negligible.

This video might have been useful if the camera was not shaken and many cuts with different cam angles as done in advertisements. As a beginner, not able to understand what he is doing. Video shooting for Educational purposes should not be like this. Change your video shooting style immediately. Otherwise, I would have given thumps up.
