Great work. I'm in an apartment right now and can't wait until I have a house (more so a garage and yard) again to work on projects like this. I would say the best part of building yourself is knowing exactly what kind of craftsmanship and quality went into it. If you take your time and really put some effort into something, you can build something of better quality that will last you longer than anything you could buy. You get to build to exactly what you need too.
nicely done, mcguyver. I'm getting awfully tired of waiting on my pannier supports to come off backorder. Have metal. Have welder. Have a weekend coming up …
Finally someone thinking like I do… I am RICH … I have time creating things like this by yourself gives you an extra self confidence also…. everybody can buy. I have good eyeballing skills, i was plumber in my former life 😉 GOOD JOB …
Nice rack 😉 (probably should've checked to see how many other yahoo's made that crack). Those moto racks can be steep. They should come standard on every bike like they used to.
You are so right about what saving money really does for you. As you say, one can always earn more money, but that has to come at the expense of your time – time that you could have spent on something that would improve the quality of your life, rather than giving some extra pocket cash. Saved money can also go to something bigger that you can't create yourself, like journeys, travellign in general, big nights out, etc. Subbed and liked :)btw totally forgot to comment on your video, excellent use of simple yet powerful crafting tools and knowhow. Simple and sturdy, and probably fun to make as well! Good job

Thanks! gave me a great idea on a little luggage rack behind the sissy bar on my Harley. That Harley stuff is ridiculously pricey.
Always be wary of the One-Eyed Snake Monster!
