In this video I show you how to install Pex Pipe in your home for your plumbing pipes. You will need brass connectors, but my dad said he loves it and it’s so easy compared to copper piping, my dad and his pastor repiped his whole house in California with Pex Pipe in 2 days.

When roughing in a kitchen sink, what is the proper sizes and measurements or if there is a rule of thumb? So far, I assume that the drain needs to be 1 1/4 to1 1/2" and the supply lines be 1/2", 20" off of the floor and about 8-10 inches apart. Please correct me if this is wrong, thank you!!

How long does it take before PEX started to break down and needs replacing? What chemicals are coming out of the PEX and into your water over time? Do you get micro plastic deposits in your water over time as being discovered from water bottles and other plastics etc.?

Holly Davis says:

my entire house is plumbed with PEX however, at bends, the just bent the tubing and did not use any fittings. i'm being told that this is installed correctly however, 4yrs later, now we are having water leaks in all these bends. am I wrong?

These guys test Pex against copper…and Pex comes out on top. But they missed the real test…thirty years from now which will be better Pex or copper? Anything made of plastic will eventually degrade over time…copper? …not so much.
