SIMPLE SHED ORGANIZING PROJECTS | Shelves, Loft, Rafters, Racks

#sponsored : In this video we’ll walk through the process of how to build a shed loft, shed shelves, tool storage, a work area, and shed rafters. We’ll transform a shed from an unorganized mess to a shed with all sorts of organization so you’ll know where every tool is and will have plenty of space for all your stuff. This video is sponsored by Cub Cadet. DIY Pete, LLC has been compensated and provided with the product free of charge in return for their honest opinion. The Cub Cadet Ultima Series ZT1 mower with a 54 inch wide deck is what I use to take care of my yard and it works great.

John says:

I would call those collar ties rather than rafters.

Add a solar powered light out there.

Pretty cool there Mr. Pete.

fadetounforgiven says:

At 5:30 I would do things differently by using some transparent pipe with water to find the lines instead of measuring from the ground. In this case it will work just fine the way you did it as the floor is levelled, but as a general rule, I would prefer the other method. Or, in case it isn't possible, then a longer level from bracket to bracket. It takes a little extra work but it works perfectly.

Other than that, nice video. I don't know why youtube suggested me this video (unless youtube already knows I'm all about a, say, random order approach kind of guy) but it's given me some ideas. Thank you.

Jeff Johansen says:

Pete, awesome video. Is that a shed that you had built or is that a pre manufactured shed? (Tuff Shed, etc.) If you did build it, were you going to make a video on the process?
Thanks,
Jeff

I really like the boards on either side of the stud for hanging tools with handles (9:12). What a great idea! Thanks Pete! Cheers from PA.

I Am A Fixer says:

Great project, thanks for sharing. Itโ€™s amazing of much extra space the rafters add!
