Amazing project, Chris! Was there any concern with not sanding between epoxy layers (casting resin to UV). I’ve heard it’s a must in order to get good bond, but wondered what the Urban Timber guys thought. Thanks for great content!

The resin looks good however the color just seems very flat. Idk for such an amazing wood carving I'd really want something that highlights the wood and makes it pop. Like opalescent red and you can play with it to give it a fire look and maybe a yellow orange for the eyes. You could even do like a steel epoxy and blend it along the spine to give it a metallic look. (Or even better use some aluminum shavings and some stripped speaker wire to inlay around the tail and horns.) Just some random ideas to throw out there, the better it looks the more it will sell for.
