Keith Frazier says:

How about a fiddle?

Wordsnwood (Art Mulder) says:

A wooden briefcase sounds easy, but too easy. A wooden backpack, sounds ridiculous. Hmm, can you steam bend these? That could get interesting. It'd probably cause the plywood to delaminate. You could make a solid core door out of a hollow core door!

jvin248 says:

What to build with hollow core doors? … I've considered building a Hurdy Gurdy … might be a cool door project. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyIXR3s8OtY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFTcA4QLHw0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaamZkadYvo

The Grant Alexander says:

Very nice! I'm putting a Bongo on the make list for my son 😁

Massimiliano Salzano says:

Hey Tim, we had the same idea. A month ago, I built a space-saving piece of furniture, and at the end of the video I started playing it, that piece of furniture had a really nice sound. Next time we will jam together, me from Italy and you from the states. hahaha

Dustin Bess says:

Tim how about making a computer desk from old doors, pallets, and metal..

Stephen Parkes says:

Wonderfull, how about some medieval or world music style strings or go mad and make a woodwind instrument.

Chris Mitchell says:

The pun in the thumbnail was great! Oh, and the video too.

Sapele Steve says:

Leave it to Tim to make a rectangular bongo drum, which sounds great! Now you need to make a set of round bongo drums in a circular pattern. That should give you lots of different sounds & keep you busy banging out your tunes. BTW, that was some nice stand up bass playing! Be good………… πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ₯πŸ₯

garagemonkeysan says:

You are one cool bohemian cat. : ) Great video. Creative project. Where do you get these ideas? : ) Mahalo for sharing. : )

Andrew Gibson says:

Sorry Tim my bad. Assumed and made an ass out of me. Keep up the great work and look forward to seeing your next project. Respect from ScotlandπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

William Lutes says:

β€œBurst down those closet doors once and for all, and stand up and start to fight.”
Harvey Milk

Steve Soldwedel says:

Tim, do you do anything with the cardboard from within the door?

Fred McIntyre says:

Cool stuff Tim, awesome work! πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŠπŸ» ….. I think it would be cool to either make a pallet (for obvious reasons) or a solid 3, 4, or 6 panel door out of hollow core closet doors.

davebauerart says:

My table saw chips out the doors quite a bit. It's a typical combo blade. Do you think I need a different one? Or my blue tape zero clearance is not doing the trick.

Andrew Gibson says:

Old school analogue synth casing i.e mini MoogπŸ€” or are synths the work of the devil 🀫

Mr. Fister says:

Cymbals from closet doors.

Rag Tie says:

Prolly your best ever…

Seth Galitzer says:

The bongos are groovy, man, just groovy. 😎 Thanks for sharing!

funkysod says:

Just thought the other day "how about a desktop cajon". This is better!

Greg Brock says:

Perhaps a cajΓ³n would be the logical next step? I’d dig that.

nzuliddu says:

You should definitely build something like a snare drum or bass drum from hollow core doors, great vid!

Dave Loderhose says:

Closet Doors.

Gforceracing20 says:

How much glue accumulation do you think is under a woodworkers workbench from wiping the excess off of our fingers? Hahaha.

WES says:

Make a xylophone from doors.

maker78 says:
