How should I decorate this thing?
On this video blog I am starting to make my own Arcade Cabinet MAME machine! This is going to be an awesome project! Basically it will be an “EVERY ARCADE EVER MADE” will be playable on this machine! So far, I have spent ZERO dollars on this project! I’m projecting to spend at least $200 total. But we’ll see how it goes. 🙂 SUBSCRIBE!
What are some of your favorite Arcade games? Galaga? PacMac? Donkey Kong?
You should restore it and keep it, or give it to a coin op museum. This is a piece of video gaming history. If you want a MAME cabinet, then build your own from scratch. Do not be lazy and stupid, like most Americans are. OBSERVE the old coin op and think about its history. Do not destroy that history. Original coin op arcade machines are getting harder to find. THINK !
Yeah. Converting this would ruin it. This thing is a classic. Mame cabinets can be built from scratch for cheap as fuck. It would be desicration.
dick head lol
It would be cool it you can like… Hook up somekinda visual sensor thing like the wii so u can play games like duck hunt…. Those dancing pads for any dancing games u may have… Or maybe a steering wheel and go out in style man…
That's dope man, and it's hand held; you just gotta be really strong to carry that thing around…
Man it sounds like fun.
I got a good laugh at the end, but man you ideas are cool. I'd keep the original art on the side, but designing it is an original idea too.
Have fun man!
What up with the wasps nests !!!
Make it a Gorf again!
any videos of u fixing it up
Christine, you gotta go up there sometime! Fun place! I recommend dinner though 1st at Five Spice China Grill. 😉
That's pretty cool. Can't wait to see how it all turns out!
I've never been to 1984, now I want to go.
I think the original decal is perfect, just touch up the blue paint around it.
lol. There were a lot of old wasp nests in there. Luckily the larva I found inside of them were all dead. Bla!
Thanks for the awesome comment! I will keep everyone updated on my progress via video blog. I went ahead and bought some pain tonight at Home Depot. Brought in a sample I peeled off the side of the cabinet. 🙂 And you are right, imperfection does work for nostalgic items!
lol. Thanks for the comment! I went ahead and got a paint sample off the side this evening and had a quart of blue paint made up. Going to just touch it up a wee bit. =P
Don't even touch it up man. Leaving old school and grungy
i say just touch it up :o)
sorry about the stings lol
