Custom made Mame Arcade Cabinet. I made a homepage showing how to make your own MAME arcade cabinet.

Enjoy making your own mame cabinet! It’s really alot of fun and I can recommed it to everyone. You can make it out of normal PC parts and wood. Feel free to use my drawings and artwork for your own project, find all the info you need on my homepage.

To get the LCD to have correct graphics and an old school feel, you could add a scanline generator like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=331152371811

I love the color-scheme. I don't care either that it's an LCD. I don't see why many people get up in arms that a cabinet 'has' to have a CRT.

Where did you get the marquee?

You can use "Some PDF Image Extract 1.5" to get the images from from a PDF file

Hello,
I would like to edit your creations (the control panel artwork), but your files are in pdf format and I can not edit. Can you send me the control panel artwork in picture format (bmp, jpg, …)?

Thank you very much,

A great french admirer of MAME project.

I'm starting on one of these in a few weeks, using the plans from your website. I plan on making it a Polybius cabinet, hoping to stir up some sh*t with it. >:)

This is by far the best mame cab I've ever seen, PERIOD. Definitely gonna use the design when I make mine

Linus Fedora Tips says:

sorry dude but the LCD monitor killed it.

In 2008 I made one of these using these instructions, and it was incredible. Seriously, it is so much more fun to play games on (Back then I was 16, made it in school's mechanic class)

I don't have it anymore, but if you want to make one of these, you should and you won't regret it 😀

Well, it's a nice video but hardly a "how to" video. More like a "show off" video. Great work by the way. The effort is there and I applaud your craftsmanship. Things in a "how to" video:
1. Voice over preferred but text on screen of the materials used, steps/action taken.
2. Highlight key pitfalls and traps.
3. Highlight tips and tricks to avoid or overcome those pitfalls and traps.
4. Step by step build process.
5. Add witty one liners to induce a chuckle.
This video had none of that
