Hi . I would like to know the material cost for this deck.
I'm building a non-attached deck also so I love this video. How deep is the concrete at the bottom of the post holes? And you only use dirt to fill in around the posts? How long will those pressure treated posts last in dirt? Forever?? I'm only building the one deck and so I won't be buying a nail gun. Are the lag bolt holes pre-drilled first? What kind of power drill will I need to screw them in? What are the right kind of nails/bolts to use with pressure-treated lumber … galvanized? Specialty ones? Thank you for a great DIY video.
Dunno why but I think u are doing shit the long way. We plumb and level our post before we pour concrete. Gloves are for bakers, my bar has leathered my hands up real nice haha

You must be in a really dry climate. In the Midwest there is a space between the deck boards to allow for moisture to escape.
