Looking forward to catching up this series Del, one of my favourite bikes – and nearly bought a number of years ago – was a cut back, dragster barred Dyna so interested to see your take on this machine. Also big respect for honouring the previous owners who clearly loved and cherished the bike; were you not tempted to return some of the embellishments in a memorial frame? Man that was a helluva job, Del. I know where you’re coming from on that. I worked in a dealership once and someone traded in their old bike and it was just hammered to death with stickers. I stood there for almost over two hours with a heat gun just peeling stickers before I even got to getting the sticky off.

You could use a thin fishing line to remove the tags and maybe the silicone. Are the tags that are maybe from lead available?

a gummy wheel on a drill is best for gettign adhesive and rubber compounds off. takes seconds but dosnt hurt paint. good job
