6:50 – "One thing that you will know, if you tell me not to do something, I will make a point to keep doing it"

Can you be more childish, and less comedyish ????

Good job on the video.

Cory Boyd says:

Man, you guys need to hit the weight room.

Cory Boyd says:

Same dimension up?

John-John van Niekerk says:

Drinking game time! Every time he says PLUMB DRINK!!!

john MD says:

Any plans to use those hills as water catchment for a large pond? I love the drone shots, your land has so much potential. Each time I watch your videos I'm like 😍 "I would love to do this over here and that over there and grow this down here too!" 🙈

Sheila meri says:

I'm fascinated.  I watch this during my lunch hour.  You guys are awesome!!!

Sheila meri says:

I hope there is a good reason for building such a large garage.  I guess you are going to use it for business purposes to build things and such.

Sheila meri says:

With that cement floor and the aluminum poles you can build a house!!!  It looks really stable.

M Jave says:

I have been following you guys from beginning and With your enthusiasm 😎 about every project and energy 👍 I bet your girlfriend probably gets little camera shy, I have seen in some cases guys are shy, I wish I was like you☹️ Good luck buddy 👏

MidlifePrices says:

Starting to look like something real now! On to the trusses!

mjvbhaskar1000 says:

Great work.
Which camera and mic are you using?

harveythepooka says:

I have no sense of time sometimes and I was wondering how much longer you have to build your house on the land? By the speed this is going and because of the massive size of this garage I hope you have a good amount of time before you have to think about building a house.

Snapper Head says:

seems like the clarity of the vid has improved. Any change?

ben s says:

Sorry to hear you had to undo your work, Derek – it was inspiring to see you so modest about it and that's why I love following you. I just today finished building a tiny house after six months and used a lot of your vlogs for that project – so thank you for uploading them! If you're ever in New Zealand you and Hannah are always welcome to stay with us. Cheers, Ben – Napier, NZ

pmhops77 says:

Potty-mouth! I absolutely FORBID you to find some women in bikini's to help you finish the rest of the garage!!!

Micah Watson says:

Tip from a framer that has built hundreds of houses – put your level aside until the walls are all framed. Take your bottom plate spacing measurements and transfer them to the top plate and headers to space the vertical members. Once the entire wall is framed, plumb it as one unit. It will go together much quicker and you will avoid a lot of complications that can arise from plumbing individual members. Plumbing as you go is not as accurate. Hope this helps….O'doyle rules! 😂

K-Singer Entertainment says:

Great video,

What's the music towards the end of the video (apx 11:50)? Link?

mark mc says:

good job.
yes check the 4ft centers , but also check overall length.
a fraction of an inch will add up with the 50 and 80 ft walls.
all that framing is there to support the siding , does the siding have grooves or troughs to allow it be "stretched" ?
Think ahead !

Kevin Hornbuckle says:

I'm just worried about the lawn.

Paul Wilson says:

I would think those "plumb" braces would go on the inside as to not interfere with the outside sheeting? Or maybe the sheeting attaches to those braces. 🙂 Hopefully you read more. Enjoying the build. Be safe.

Rick Crippen says:

I used to work in an office made of just metal studs and sheetrock. I remember watching them build it. It was in a large medical center (in the 70s!) Lightweight, but the most expensive square footage back then (not because of the metal studs but because it was a medical center.)

Joe Boyett says:

That’s gonna be a gigantic garage!…great video

Rick Crippen says:

What temperature was it while you were working? Did it have any effect on the metal?

Jimmy Stuckey says:

Well seeing how many miles you can see from atop that little lift one things for sure your not going to be able to hide that big shiny thing from the revenue commissioner

Patrick Horgan says:

I thought the purpose of the strap and harness was so that if the lift tipped over it could fling you like the bucket on a trebuchet!

Mack Dickerson says:

Sht happens. You're not the first and you won't be the last. Peace! Namaste.
