The project took 7 months to complete it involved
– Replumbing the hot and cold feeds in the house
– Rewiring the kitchen
– Plastering 60% of the Kitchen
– Moving the kitchen door frame
– Installation of under flooring heating
– Creating a utility room and moving
– Tiling the kitchen
– Installing an Ikea kitchen
– Sourcing an installer to install a Quartz worktop
– Installation of Oven / Hob and Extractor fan

And in between all this work ensure we had a working kitchen most of the time.

Lovely kitchen but I think you should have installed spot lights in the ceiling, also if you are adding to the electric heated flooring in future can you connect it to the same thermostat or does it have to be individual?

The finished look is great, clean lines etc (although the fridge magnets and decorations would drive me wild) was this DIY or did you get professional help. I could see that throughout the project the kitchen remained a functioning kitchen, which is incredible. It was worth the result though. I hope you enjoy cooking in it.

Quick Question: Was there ever the thought to knock through the utility room to the other side for open plan? and if yes why didn't you in the end?
