This is a pretty cool project but I think you missed an opportunity by not attaching some flat bar to the back of the frame that drops down and then attaching flat bar across for the paper. Would have prevented the wobble and less holes in your walls
Great video! Did you change the name of your channel? I must have missed where/when you spoke about this.
"Right now I don't have the means to clean up ugly welds in tight spaces."
It's called a file.
Your welds look good compared to most beginners. Great project too.
This was a cool project. I love seeing wood and metal mixed. As a welder, a tip for the welds is to set it up in position so that you can weld the joint vertically down. You set your machine around 17 volts and 225 inches wire speed and make circular motions going from top to bottom. It's very hard to make mig downhill look bad. When you practice work on making consistent circles and not going too slow or too fast
I was wondering what this "workshop edit" channel was on my latest video suncriptions. Didn't know you had changed your channel name from The Cutting Board. Nevertheless, really cool small project. Your kitchen is looking and coming out gorgeous.
I have been gathering materials to make this exact project for my kitchen. Love your design and was awesome to see how you accomplished the look. Really needed a good tutorial with clear information to give me the start I needed. Thanks!!
Do you have a video about the subway tiles and floating shelves that you've installed? I've watched your island, and counter extension build. Would love to see the whole change in your kitchen. Great build, as always! xo
Well Done! Maybe add a pen/marker holder for it?
Great stuff!
Hey man, I don't know your name so this will have to do. I really liked this project and you did an excellent job explaining what you were doing. I'm a retired "old man" and I enjoy woodworking. I watch several wood oriented videos and yours ranks up there with the best of them. I hope you get to post often because we need more like you.
God Bless my friend friend.
