Building a paver patio and firepit

Building a paver patio and firepit

we’re not professionals and aren’t pretending to be…just a couple of older gals who wanted a place to sit and enjoy a fire and maybe roast some hot dogs and marshmallows….and of course have a few drinks!

Can I use it for drive way

pedraw says:

Roughly calculated……….about 2 1/2 tons of dirt.

Brett Pontius says:

Looks great! lol No one answered your question of how many tons of dirt moved? So 2 years later…. That would be 2.149 tons or 4,298.75 lbs. (using an average soil weight of 78lbs/ft^3.) Thanks for sharing.

I love your work…Awesome!!! it is very charming and has great character. I like that the fire pit is off centered to be honest with you. I love the small imperfections it just adds that much character. I did this in my backyard and it is not perfect and get many compliments of the rustic organic look that my pavers have.

Paige Turner says:

Hello everyone. I actually own a Lawncare and Landscaping business, and what this lady has done here, is pretty close to exactly what we do one our patio installations. One tip I'd like to leave you all with, is when you put in your rock for your base, if you check your local rental store, the have what is called a plate compacter. It's a gas powered machine that presses down and compacts what ever you drive it over. It's well worth the rental fee

Did the new firepit porch ever compromise that siding?

Great job and love the background music. I work better with some good classic tunes. Go have a well deserved rest on yo' patio. Thanks!
