Sister our deck runs through the whole length of our house and garages and I want to put up like a little pergola or something type so that way we can actually sit out in the rain on one part of it obviously we couldn't do it over the whole things that's too expensive but this is a cute idea I think I might do this in our front porch area and then use color lights thanks for sharing
Great idea. For a finishing touch, paint the poles to match your house, and add climbing plants to your planters. You didn't add a drain hole but you could still do it with a layer of rocks at the bottom, then the soil, then the living plants.
