Bruh I used to do 30+ ft walk ups that look better by my self with no machines. O there's the problem, women…
This is what I do for a living, and honestly nothing was done right, typical reason why people think this is an easy job, and then it go to waste 2 years later. First you did not dig deep enough(minimum 10 inches plus the stone) total 12 Inches++, second you should have compacted the stones once more with the compactor, (use teflon to avoid scratching them), this will really lock each piece. When building fire pits, never build them on top of pavers. Leave an opening in the pavers them start build your wall. Once fire pit is completed install aluminum siding(or metal box from a hardware store) so the pavers dont over heat and crack. Remember pavers are usually guaranteed for 10 years, but not if they crack because of too much heat. Next when your installing polymer sand use a blower to get excess dust of the surface. (A BROOM IS NOT ENOUGH). But the level looked good, I wonder how it looks from the side or close up;)

You need to blow that excess joint sand compound then lightlt water it to set the material.
The pavement ants will love to get into your sand .
