Jeff, we damaged the drywall paper in several places when we pulled interior doors. What kind of prep should i put on the paper before i skim coat it with mud.???

Why would you not have to prime? Won't that leave the paint sheen uneven in those spots?

I've been a drywaller since 1983 USG Dora Bond leaves a shine you want to use Kwikset and set it over your sink and get some in the drain and see what happens
