No plumbers tape?
You are my favorite!!! Thank you so much for helping me feel capable ๐.
I learned something new today. Thank you
I've done this and the water seems to not want to flow proper?? Only a very small amount of water flows through the faucet but the water works everywhere else in the house?!? I'm beyond stumped… Any help would be greatly appreciated…
I Shut off the water at the main but the water would not stop coming out of the shut off valve after it was taken apart and I drained the toilet. So I put it back on but now it is leaking and it is tight. help
Thank you, Leah. You helped me with our newly purchased old house a great deal. The plumbing was a mess.
Leah, Thank You. Installation Contractor wouldn't install my new Dishwasher because the hot water value would not close even though I told him we turn off at the water heater and the main inlet valve. He didn't like that idea and he left. Went to Ace Hardware, found the 1/4 turn valve and was able to replace myself based on your video. I also went ahead and Installed the Dishwasher myself. Calling GE tomorrow to get my installation money back.
A plumber wanted to charge me $100.00 to replace one compression shut-off valve. I watched a bunch of these how-to videos and plan on doing it myself for a lot cheaper. Also, a lot of people recommend an all-metal quarter-turn valve.
Sheโs awesome!
Leah is great! Thanks for showing how to do it, and explaining how easy it is while you do it!!
Better using a little pipe dope if going this route. Plumbers would never use compression fittings
Very Helpful! Thanks!
I know you dont need telfon tape for it since its compression but what if its already done using telfon tape and compression. Will it hurt anything in the near future?
You dont want to use a pipe wrench. Will scratch. Crescent wrench is way to go
Thanks for the video, tomorrow I will change 2 valves.
Leah, I have to say that you are really good!
All your videos are helpful and Fabulous!!! โคโ๐บ๐ธ
Thank you so much Leah!!!! Great tips!!!
Just what I was looking for! I've got to replace three failed quarter turn valves that are soldered on. This answered all my questions! Thank you!
Someone actually gives this video a thumbs down? Great video, very helpful and easy to follow. Thanks!
AWESOME video! Thank you!!!
Thank you ma'am, I've really been intimidated until I haven't seen this video
