What about when something gets stuck in the pipe in the floor? I think the ring hardware from underneath the toilet fell down there because it is no longer attached to it. We tried snaking it out but no luck and now we cant flush paper down there or it will cause the whole bathroom to flood.

How would a plumber fix this?

you should probably shut down the gas before you drain/flush the gas water heater? I don’t think you want to cook an empty tank. Also, in my experience, opening the TandP causes it to drip because hard water crustys gum it up and it won’t seal back. So maybe shut the whole house down and open some faucets.

Cool video very informative stuff everyone should know how to do. I just worked on 2 toilets for someone that had the inlet holes clogged with hard water deposits causing a incomplete flush, they were thinking about buying 2 new toilets.
