8X12 Home Office Shed – Affordable and DIY

8X12 Home Office Shed – Affordable and DIY

UPDATE 2/23/2017
I have been working in this home office for a year and a half now. It has been fantastic! I built a walkway leading to both structures and did some landscaping. Additionally, my brother moved in from out of state last summer to do an internship and lived in the home office for 3 months! I moved my desk around and installed a full bed.

Description:
Cost breakdown of a standard 8×12 shed, video of delivery, and how I converted into a home office.

I purchased an 8×12 shed from The Shed depot (details along with pricing included in the video) and converted it into a home office since I work remotely most of the week.

My wife is a stay at home mom and we have two kids under the age of three; which makes things a bit rowdy. The home office works perfectly and I could’t be more pleased with how it turned out.

Note – I also routed Cat 5 Ethernet wiring into the home office to keep a consistent high-speed bandwidth. I would definitely recommend doing so.

Have you had any issues with the shed so far? I'm thinking about getting the larger 12×16 and turn it into a motorcycle workshop. Probably do the same style upgrades. Really like the look of that shed.
