Best Power Tools ~ Tool Review ~ Favorite Tools ~ DIY Wood Project

In this video, I talk about my 3 tools I couldn’t be without when working with wood. Step by step, I show you how to make a simple wood box using these power tools.

NOTE: What I called a Skil saw in the video, is a circular saw! Skil is a brand. Sorry about that!

I loved this video. I watch a lot of the Dollar Tree videos where they build stuff with wooden rulers and paint stirrers and I like them but I always think, a scrap piece of wood would be so much easier. More simple projects like this, please. I love my power tools.

Oldebookworm says:

Thanks Mary! I love working with wood myself. I have my own tools as well. Several
Saws, drills, router, sanders etc. you used a circular saw. Have you thought of clamping wood to the short side of the table so You could accomplish the cut in one pass ?

Elizabeth Hamilton says:

Great video! I started working with wood at a young age also. My Daddy taught me so much about power tools and the older I got, the more tools I bought. I think a lot of women would use power tools if someone like you taught them about safety rules and how to use them correctly so they aren't afraid to use them. Have a great day. Thank you so much for making this video. I really enjoyed it and saved it in my Home Repair Playlist. I appreciate you explaining about using power tools. I have been looking at getting a table saw. I have been looking at some online and do not know which one to get. I asked a friend which one he recommended and he recommended one that cost $499.00. It is a great table saw, but I cannot afford to spend that much money. I saw the one that you have and that size is my dream size of a table saw. I am not sure how much I will be cutting that I need a table saw. I do have a circular saw. The reason I began to look at getting a table saw is I am going to be doing some sliplap in my master bath. I also am planning on building a workbench. What is your opinion on whether I should purchase a table saw or not? If you think I should, which one would you recommend?

I love the project that you recommended. I am planning on making one. It will look perfect in my living room. I have a somewhat rustic/cabin lodge theme in the living room. I have used old windows to make wall decorations. My husband loves what I have done.

Thank you for your channel.
