I use this burnt wood finish technique on most (if not all) of my builds. This is a How To get that burnt wood finish or How To stain wood with fire…and stain! There’s always an argument over if this technique is true Shou Sugi Ban or not. So, I’ll just call it a Torched Wood Finish!!

I get asked a lot how I achieve this look, so I figured I’d make a video showing my process.
