This is the first of a two part video where I share my trash can storage shed build with you. I have been looking at these trash bins in the corner of the back yard since we moved into this house, and have been looking forward to building a proper storage shed for them. This week I finally made the time to build this small shed for my trash cans.

Thanks for this April. I used it as the template to create a garbage bin at the cottage from wood I salvaged from an old deck using 2x4s and 1x6s so it was bear proof. Good luck with your channel!

Does the shed have to be so deep? 46 inches seems a bit much. Would the bins fit it were shallower?

There are several factors in creating an amazing design. One plan I found which successfully combines these is the Adota blueprint pack (check it out on google) without a doubt the most helpful course that I have ever seen. Check out this interesting site.

Excellent, I don't know how I stumbled upon you but you are true diyer that always figures it out and makes a excellent video that keeps me watching. The only thing I would have done different would be to incorporate cedar wood into to the roof to help with prevention of wasp nests. I did the same thing not as grand as your enclosure but always had the wasp squatters waiting to nail me when it was time to drag the cans to the curb. A lot of insects don't like cedar including the stinging kind, but please keep producing the videos, your a natural.
