Dropping your security company for Konnected or something like Konnected is not equivalent. Sure there is a niche market for that, but think about this…Who is going to monitor your system when a theif powers off your internet, you are sleeping away from your home, or when you are in staff meeting at work, and when staff is over in an hour, your entire home has been looted – cause this happened to my friends. This is a false sense of security. A better idea is to tie your $17/mo Pro monitored wired alarm system into your smart home to expand its IF..THEN capabilities, keeping your FIRE protection tied to the Fire dept, providing for cellular transmission from the home to the monitoring company and not the unreliable Internet – that product I haven't seen but would look forward to.

Helo, great video, thank you for sharing it. One thing i'm not clear about. How do you connect to the base for example PIR motion sensor that have 4 wires, 2 must get 12v power (+,-) and the other 2 are the zone related?

How does it work with a hybrid alarm security where you have sensors that wired and wireless that work on the same system? The wired part is self explanatory but I'm trying to figure out the wireless sensors to work with smart things.

So this basically just replaces a SmartThings Hub?

Excellent video. Thanks.

Nice video. Are able to connect another one to add additional zones? Also what would be cool would be to add like a gsm 3g board for cell communication.

What if you have an iPhone and wireless sensors?

Ben's new obsession!

I love it. Awesome Job! This is a great solution if you already have sensors wired in your home. If you are starting fresh, would you do something different?
