They are called BLINKERS for a reason……And yours didn't do it. Why throw the old ones away you could keep for spares or sell.
Never did like exhaust wrap. And it will destroy the chrome on the exhaust. But if you're going to do it, the proper way to secure it is to use worm drive hose clamps. I wouldn't throw parts away. Those turn signals will fetch a pretty penny on eBay if they are in good condition. Genuine Honda parts are always worth something.
Is that headlight mounted by drilling into the piece between the forks?

hey, man. good on you for taking a few items off and swapping them out with what you prefer. it's your bike (first bike?) and this is part of having fun with it.
i've never owned a rebel 250 but have fixed and tuned damn near a dozen of them for friends. it's the darndist little thing that is small, fun and forgiving. i tend to put $3 worth of quarters under the fork caps to preload the front as the springs get weak after n years (as my friends have bought them used and worn).
… and the exhaust wrap is fine. you're not revving high enough on that motor to affect the out valves and it makes a quiet bike even quieter.

Why did you wrap your pipes? Is there actually a purpose for doing this or is it for looks. Looks stupid.
