I found this is made out of Polypropylene wich is a thermoplast meaning you could heat up the edges with a heatgun to bent them over for a real clean looking finish.
Might do it with some 3m tape.

could you do this with a 90's model that has a front face of a nissan 240,300zx, or Toyota supra. a lip you couldn't really bolt on the same way like in this video since those cars don't have small factory lips.
In case anyone is interested, you should know that you can actually buy black pop-rivets, you just need to look. I think Bunnings or Super Cheap has them.

If you get a wider one, you can fold it over on itself, and then it will not just be vertical but also slanted outwards a bit, which will look cooler and might actually do a little to help aero.
