SELF FUSING TAPE WITH HIGH AND LOW TEMPERATURE STABILITY, SEALING UNDER PRESSURE UP TO 11 BAR. EXCELLENT ELECTRICAL INSULATION AND WATER RESISTANCE.

cut the pipe with a mini pipe cutter and stick a shark bite on…done and permanent
What is wrong with an oxy torch and silver solder? For a quick temporary fix a piece of scrap bicycle inner tube and a hose clamp works until you can get a plumber.
Won't stop a leak at a soldering joint.
UGH!!!!! how long does it take to wrap a 1/2 inch pipe. beating my head against the wall.
good idea in ideal situations for simple pin holes under 100 PSI. Ive been in maintenance for 12 years and i still have not seen anything that works faster, that is cheaper, better and as long lasting as any old chunk of rubber and any spare gear clamp you have in the tool box. If your pipe has pin holes its time to replace it anyways and you can retrieve your gear clamps when you re-pipe.
There is a cut on the video just as he covers the hole of the leak. Not sure if this really would work.! 😢
why did this music make me want to fight mike tyson????, when all i wanted was to find out how to repair my leaking pipe
The best fix is sweating method or Shark Bite connector for people who don't like or not comfortable sweating pipes.
Took you two minutes and 50 feet of tape to fix that hole. most of these kinds of "Fixes" Are to stop water from running while you go get a replacement or turn of the main or whatever. Not meant for permanent fixes. and you could probably use alot less of another kind of tape.
love to see him do that on a pipe that is under a sink unit and mm from the wall
Self amalgamating tape, when used for leaks is a band-aid, not a repair.
WHy are you wasting so much tape!
When would you have a pipe just running in the middle of the room with space on each side… pipes are always in awkward places right up next to the wall with little space to wrap anything tightly around it… good idea but not in the real world…
I love the white guide line on the tape…smart.
Pipes usually leak at the joints, like at an elbow. The tape did not work for me. Not even two rolls of it and it's expensive tape. Furthermore, if it's a hot water pipe, the tape will split from the heat.
Wasted way to much tape there
Could you just stick a self taping screw in it until you work out how to shut it off?
What a Awesome video and outstanding Review. Really I Love it and Looking forward to watch your Upcoming Videos https://plus.google.com/100266484597833445824/about?hl=enDenver
Tremalvac works much better.
Cut and sweat in repair coupling.
#Joseph Stokes don't insult Warren Miller like that @worddunlap
groovy music.
IS THIS A TEMPORARY FIX OR IS IT A PERMANENT FIX ?
Will not be practical in a live situation,Is this for internal use only?
The mains pipes in the UK can work at between 4 to 6 bar I know for a fact that it would not stop them.
We have no idea what this video contains as the absolutely horrible and intrusive music has chased us away. Terrible presentation!
It's great tape. I am also looking for such tape for my clients to repair water, oil, gas pipes to stop leakage before applying our fiberglass tape.
