Building a Shed Pad on a Budget by Hand. DIY How to

How to build a solid foundation for your shed without renting expensive equipment. I saved myself between $500 and $700 dollars doing the work myself on nights and weekends over 3 weeks. It was a lot of physical labor but I’m really happy with how it turned out!

After waiting about 8 years for this to move up on the list of larger projects we’ve saved up for, I decided to custom order the shed for two reasons:
1) I didn’t want to spend a month or so building it myself and
2) this way it would be guaranteed to meet my wife’s requirement that it “looked pretty” and matched our house

The dormer was an extra option we requested and is my favorite part, bringing the total cost delivered to about $3500.

Please give me some feedback in the comments and give it a thumbs up if you feel I earned it!

Oh! That's what you were doing when you explained the correct use of the shovel with respect to your father's teachings! Great.
The ramming of stones is one of the most stable things I've seen because they get caught up with each other, and the rain helps more than bother, to seat the whole. Nice way to level up using the beam, that's tiring to do. I think the containment wooden wall will not move over time by movement the ground, because you joined the first row with the second. That was a question to make you, when I saw the first part of the video. There will be no moisture down there and if it enters the rain, will drain perfectly between the stones down. Love the shed man ! Thanks for sharing !
