On your single player cp, what is the purpose of the joystick on the far right?

PARTY ALL NITE! DJ says:

I've seen this machine in person and it's detail is pretty insane! Exceptionally well done sir!

Jonney Shih says:

Just brilliant setup Jack, I always wanted one in my home to finish Street Fighter and Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, also nothing better than arcades to fill up the room, and a baby-foot.
Can't wait for episode on emulation.

merinsan says:

I'd love to have one of these!
I'm not about to build one though. I simply have no space for one.

When I was young, my favorite game was probably Galaga. When I got a bit older, I got really good at Bubble Bobble – to the point that I could finish the game with a single credit.
I remember wasting a lot of money on Gauntlet with my brother, and subsequently getting in trouble for it one time too.

Retronimo says:

Great video, as someome who grew up going to my local arcade every weekend, it amazes me that now it's something I could build.
A nice touch for future videos of this type would be showing the budget to make the machine, like every time something is used the price is shown and all is added up at the end.

Any reason you use MDF over ply?

docbones213 says:

There is an old Neo Geo cabinet that was left to die in my backyard. I wonder if I could necromance that thing into something. I doubt much of the original hardware is in any kind of shape, but the cabinet might have survived. I'd like to see that thing resurrected. Great video! Quite inspiring in fact. If I can save what's left of it over the winter it might be a spring project.

Lord Mutton says:

I'm too young to know about arcade machines before handheld game devices; however, this was still cool to watch. Nice choice of graphics.

Andrew Sulpizio says:

This is incredible. I have been thinking of buying an arcade machine, but now I might build one. Great video!

Do any of you go to local arcades? What are some of your favorite arcade games?
