I was amused to hear you call PVC "traditional" — I just got done replacing some half inch copper in a 100 year old building… . I am looking at PEX moving forward, as long as I can find tools that work in close quarters.
If you take your time, get the right tools and have common sense everything will be fine. If you have a friend this helps too. Wish I could afford a plumber but many are too expensive to employee. Thank you for the video. I'm going to do some more research and start my new DIY project right quick.
Bought the same tool was on sale for $50 so couldn't pass it up. Will admit haven't used it yet, but have some plumbing to my garage that I need to repair at some time.
Yeah you may save money on the job but if that should fail and flood your house your insurance would not cover it because you are not license people need to realize that yes hiring a professional is a little expensive but its worth it plus if you decide to sell your house and you want to advertis they can ask for permits and if you didnt pull them they can still make you pay fpr them
You are very smart and talented good job . I know working in construction they use a manifold which also has seperate shut off connections to fixtures .
Hey thanks for posting this video, I had to fix a freeze proof faucet today that used PEX connections at my house, was not sure what tools to go buy, thanks again for posting the info 🙂
Pex pipe fitting cost to much when i have a shower and tub a bathroom sink and a kitchen sink to replumbing work to do cost 300 00 in fitting alone .

If you wana go on You Tube & teach don't be stingy & say "this is how it is, but I don't wana waste materials" 2 cents ring wasted is no big deal.

Thanks for the informative video.
Sharkbite push on connectors works great, but in most codes, it can not be buried/hidden behind walls or ceiling… I used Sharkbite crimped ones
From one David to another, Thanks you just gave me the confidence to do the job.
I really appreciate your help, thanks a lot.
Good job. You saved a ton of money
