We would like to convert our screened porch to a sunroom. The previous owners built the porch on the deck against the house. We will obviously need new flooring since the flooring is just deck boards with cracks between them, so we plan to insulate and replace that. Will we need to make adjustments to the foundation/footings since it's sitting on a deck (deck posts)? I'm assuming that an interior room should probably have some kind of concrete foundation. What do you think?
