I have a family request for a specific size wood storage box which I am constructing it from leftover plywood and other scrap wood I have, I will be using glue to hold the wooden DIY box together and I even have some hinges but will need to purchase some catches for the lid.

Nicely done Colin! I really liked how you cut the top off after assembly. Just curious as to why you didn't fit the bottom section the same way you fitted the top section? Thanks for posting……………
From the view angle at 5:29 it looks like top is slightly off but I know it isnโt. My question is if I got this far and my top is off, could I trim the entire top side of the box through the table saw before I put in the top piece of plywood?
Looks like a good way to skill build before trying hardwood keepsake boxes. Those are on my list for next year! Thx as always Colin.

Great box but no handles! A couple of holes or grooves in the sides would help.
