Another great cheap mod is steel braided brake lines. It takes time to install but can make your stock brakes a lot better.
removing rim tape:
step1- use heat gun or hairblower to soften the adhesive
step2- remove the rim tape
step3-spray WD40 on the adhesive residue
step4-thoroughly wipe the adhesive residue and the WD40 until clean
step5- wash your motorcyle (optional, to make sure no WD40 residue left)
works all the time! 😀

Medical supply place that sells Ostomy products.They sell boxes of 50 or 100 packets/box of Adhesive Remover.Use that to get tape adhesive gone.Just be sure after got all the adhesive off (whatever) to clean the area to remove the remover, or the next sticker or tape trying to put on wont stick. So also get some rubbing alcohol to remove the remover.

Use 3M adhesive remover wheel, works great and no paint damage like chems
my dirtbike horn is rusty but when I tried it out for the first time I was earraped hahaha
WD40 takes off any adhesive very easily
try riding the uk roads, more akin to transylvanian cart tracks in the 19th century. more holes than swiss cheese. awful! but don't get me started on the local roads they are even worse! road tax is paying for champagne and caviar at the christmas party no doubt

use hair dryer to remove any sticker like things. even heat gun works better but watch heat. heat sticker and glue comes right off clean as new.
