MDF makes a lot of dust, and it's toxic to breathe in. So make 100% sure you use a respirator that is suitable for it if you're going to cut it!

I cut this stuff on my CNC and the dust gets everywhere — even with a dust collection system.

MobileDecay says:

I hope you don't mind that I wrote out a detailed lunatic plan about brutally murdering you and sending you through a wood chipper so that I can take this from you. Nothing personal. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

CPC_RedDawn says:

How much for you to build one of these for me and ship it to the UK, i will offer 1 kidney and 1 obscene sex act of your choice…. choose wisely.

CosGamer says:

How did you draw out the plans on the board the paper you show is too small, did you have it blown up or did you free hand it

Steve Wall says:

Needs more Cup holders

SuperWario128 says:

Shouldโ€™ve installed slide out cup holders or hard mounted some.

.__.") THAT'S AMAZING.
.___.") it'd be safer if the power sockets for the console were put on the higher level away from the refrigerator one. It'll be a complete mess and danger if the electricity went off and the water from the fridge starts to leak.

Upgrade idea: the drawer can be modified to accept a mini-ITX desktop PC motherboard. With a PCIe riser you can fit a full small form factor game PC, with an overclocked high end processor (e.g. Core i7-8700K @5GHz) and high end graphics card (e.g. GeForce GTX 1080 Ti) all in this chassis. Now you can play Switch game, MAME games, and even AAA PC titles in this cabnet. Also replace the TV with a good gaming monitor.

Oliverfan2005 says:

Well
Time to build some stuff

Mike M says:

Awesome! Even I'm not a Nintendo Switch player.

Tom Klotz says:

DatLegoMann says:

What type of gaming laptop you got man?

jesus moreno says:

I would love one of these babies in my room. Also, why has Nintendo not tried contacting you for an interview for this great creation you made? XD Although, its very unique.

Blue says:

I know this is an old vid, but what do you think of the N30 stick for casual gameplay? Do you think it'll last a while, or will it wear out on me after a few months?

GeekachuIChooseYou says:

I kinda want to do this, but I've blown way too much money on videogames. Also, I feel like an alternative to the minifridge would basically be some shelves for other games and systems with a multi-input screen so you could, say, swap to the Wii U to play Smash Bros.

Jeike Magalang says:

Hey… This Nintendo Switch Looks Like That Prototype Switch At Walmart, Target, & Best Buy! (possibly other stores??)

Voltage And YoungD00D19956 says:

I'm gonna try and build one for each system ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค”

Kimberly B. says:

Directed here via your interview with SmashJT. Have to say, this is not only a ridiculously impressive feat, but the quality of your vid is outstanding. I'm glad you didn't just show the finished product, but offered a (brief) walkthrough of just how exactly it was done. And then offered links for materials and additional info. Because I can see a lot of gamers wanting to tackle this project for themselves.

Again, I'm really impressed. This is something that would make a great addition to any hardcore Nintendo fan's home. I'm curious now to see what other DIY projects you post. ๐Ÿ˜€

Clay4Trey says:

This is really neat! I would love to make a GameCube version of this!

MetaVirus says:

Will anyone make Mortal Kombat for the switch?

Joshua Miller says:

I think this is the best DIY I've seen yet from you XD

ShadowStorm says:
