Using the $35 Raspberry Pi Linux computer I show you how to set up a full information kiosk/station in your kitchen or other room to display the news, weather, live video feeds, the time & more.

You can edit the .php file to display anything you like. Next video I will add the Amazon Alexa voice control and AI system which will allow us to do any home automation and control we wish using the Pi.

I edited the location on both files (America/Chicago in index.php and Chicago, USA in weather.js) and changed from c to f and still see Naha-shi and degrees in Celsius. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I'm very interested in the monitor you are using. I know you said it was a left over from a previous project, but could you share the model and make? Great project!

James Bowen says:

I may of missed something, but why can the Pi host the index.php page?

Hari Wiguna says:

As much as I'm proud of my videos, yours are still sooo much better than mine. The polish of this video for instance is amazing. The intro shot is timed just right for the music to reach crescendo of the channel branding. The camera often moves (smoothly) to make the shots more interesting. Telling user about next video is a great idea to engage new users. Well done Eric!!!
PS: Don't forget to add links SPECIFIC to this project to the video description.
