I thought I would try my hand at building a cocktail cabinet from scratch for another friend. I built the shell out of marine ply, along with a recycled 17″ LCD computer monitor, Jamma Harness, Power Supply, Power Amplifier plus a Game Elf Vertical board that has over 400 games. The games are a mixture of older classics, and some mid 80’s arcade classics.
It is almost finished, I just need to get a sheet of glass cut for the top.

Have y checked out raiden 4 on ps3, and Raiden 5 on PS4?
Neat cocktail table that have you build there. It's a shame 19XX never had a port to consoles or even put in a compilation.
Amazing. I love it lol
Meoooow 😉
Poor kitty wants some attention.
But seriously, a great cabinet!
Nice work, sure was a lot of vertical games then so an exclusive cab works. Meow! Pretty easy to rotate an LCD in weight, thinking of trying that myself but I have nothing to keep it there heh. Meow! Funny how some companies must have had only vertical cabs sometimes, rare differing game like Wiz that isn't well suited for it. Meow! Made for hard porting, I always preferred the 1:1 window crop with sidebar HUD for home versions. Meow!
Oh forgot..we had a Kangaroo cab in our chip shop. I played it quite a bit. That game uses a rather odd display I thought. With very distinctive raster lines.
I am impressed Tony! You built that? Did you have a plan for the parts?
I have no real idea of what a monster cab is. It looks like a cocktail cab, but with easier accessible controls.
Does the game elf board switch the screen around when there are two players?
It's a wonderful cabinet Tony. Well done!
Cool monsta cab!
