Turned out Great! Love it! I'm Making a 3 piece sectional with a table in the middle.
Hey Ana, this is great, Im just about to build some of these. ill post a link when im done 🙂
Love you! where have you been all my life? i could have been building with much greater skill had i learned from you earlier. thank you for your kind generosity and sharing your mother's day with us!
Hi Ana,
I saw in your blueprints that you advice to chose cedar.
I don't how much it will cost for the moment (I will go to a wood depot on Tuesday).
If it's too expansive, what kind of wood would you recommend, even if I have to put some vernish) ?
Thanks.
Outdoor? Heck, you can use them indoors as well! Awesome!
would you build me a house ?
Awesome! Just what I have been looking for, going to build some for my pontoon boat. I wanted something nicer then regular uncomfortable normal pontoon seats.
After building the same, I find the back support is "poking" your own back even with a 5" back cushion…"did I say BACK" lol Any way to modify this? Was thinking of turning the 2×4 the other way around where you see 3.5" of lumber instead of 1.5" when you look facing the furniture…what do you think
Any cheaper yet still sturdy alternative to the cedar someone would recommend?
Has numerous details in this woodworking book “pepe amazing plan” (Google it). There are a few designs in the book but it is mainly explaining the process of how you can do different things and what tools to utilize to achieve them. To put it briefly, I am fulfilled making use of this book, particularly in the process of understading about woodworking.
Why are you paying for wood look at your backyard.
nice job! no painting?!
Omg i need a wife just like you
Did you seal it? I like it but I wpuld def use some glue, more screws and stain/seal that bad boy!!!
I did not plan to use this woodworking book, “pepe amazing plan” (Google it) but instead curious about it. I was really impressed right after trying it. It never disappointed me in my desire to acquire more details about the art of woodworking. I found several topics such as wood types as well as designing your workshop.
Wish the directions were a little clearer. Doesn't specify about the second part of the sectional. Is it included in the required materials? Just don't want to buy twice the lumber but don't want to have to go back either. Can anyone elaborate plz? Also, what kind of self tapping screws? Hardware stores have a few different coatings etc
Marry me please hahaha
I'm building the full sectional right now with pressure treated pine 2x4s which cost $161 (Cedar would cost me $315!!!) and the cheapest cushions I can find are at Ikea for a total of $405. This project ends up costing $720 if you do cedar, or $566 for pine.
I'm halfway through it and I'm realizing how absurdly expensive this is going to be.
Please do something with your hair. It is everywhere and is a great safety issue, especially when using the miter saw.
